Heat exchanger design and simulation software
The heat exchanger design software has been developed with the aim of optimizing design and reducing costs. This software evaluates various geometric designs by receiving initial information, such as process data. Standards are also considered in the design process, and at the end of the design, one or several superior designs are introduced. The computational core of this software is based on a one-dimensional solver of fluid flow and heat transfer network. This solver has been well validated in the problem of heat exchangers.
In other similar software, classical heat transfer methods such as LMTD and NTU are used to analyze heat exchangers. However, in this software, one-dimensional differential equations governing fluid flow and heat transfer are used. Using this method makes it possible, unlike previous methods, to calculate and examine the distribution of temperature, pressure, and speed at different points of the exchanger.

Designing various types of heat exchangers
The capability to design and simulate various types of heat exchangers, including shell and tube, plate, and air-cooled heat exchangers, is considered in this software.
